Fabrizio Minoja graduated with honors in Pure Chemistry from the University of Milan. For several years he was the assistant of the Head of Research of a leading Italian pharmaceutical firm, dealing in particular with patents in the field of antibiotics. He joined B&M in 1982.

Between 1989 and 1999 Fabrizio Minoja tutored in “Basic European Patent Law” at the Centre d’Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Industrielle (CEIPI), Université Robert Schumann, Strasbourg, and was a contract professor of Industrial Law at the University of Milan, Faculty of Science, degree course in Industrial Chemistry.

His practice includes prior art searches and related opinions, drafting and extending patent applications abroad, as well as examinations, opposition and appeals before the European Patent Office. He has appeared several times as a court-appointed technical expert and assists clients as a technical expert in patent infringement and/or invalidity proceedings.

Affiliations: AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) and FICPI (Fédération International des Conseils en Propriété Intellectuelle).
